22nd Career Education Day(s) going hybrid
More than 20 years ago, we were the first to organize a networking event for our students: Career Education Day (CED). This is a professional business event that puts our students in direct contact with potential employers - some of the most renowned companies from Croatia and the region.
The overarching topic of this year's Career Education Day(s) is "Roaring 20(20)’s: What can be expected in the post-pandemic labor market?”
The event lasts for 4 days in both virtual and live mode, with the following concept:
- Tuesday, March 22, 2022: Virtual CED conference for Web and Mobile Computing students,
- Wednesday, March 23, 2022: Virtual CED conference for International Business and Hospitality Tourism Management,
- Thursday, March 24, 2022: Live smaller events at Zagreb campus and virtual interviews,
- Friday, March 25, 2022: Live smaller events at Dubrovnik campus and virtual interviews.

At RIT Croatia, we find experiential learning to be an extremely important segment of education, which, would not be possible without our corporate partners who play an important role in our students' education by sharing their expertise, knowledge and experience. This year 145 companies from Croatia, USA, UK, UAE, Ireland, Greece, Germany, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, and Norway are participating during the 4 days of the event in more than 45 different activities. To pull off such a big event would not be possible without our student volunteers, or to be correct 25 of them, who are supporting this hybrid event in all possible ways! Our Alumni community grows bigger year by year, and we are very proud to welcome 53 of our Alums joining Career Education Day(s) as industry partners representatives.
