This talk familiarizes the audience with nonlinear and networked control systems starting off with real-life examples. Afterward, core control theory concepts,
such as (asymptotic) stability, controllability, observability, estimation, robustness, adaptation and optimality, are covered in more detail employing
practical applications investigated by the presenter in his professional career.
Most students who join RIT Croatia say that writing essays in high school was boring, unimportant or even traumatic. In this informal talk, Rebecca will share her experience helping students engage and enjoy their own writing while freeing them from some of the obstacles that have held them back in the past. She explains her "logic and magic" approach to writing, developed over nearly 20 years of teaching at RIT Croatia.
