Dr. sc. Šorić holds a Financial Literacy workshop for members of Croatian Water Polo Club Mladost

On Saturday, January 21, dr. sc. Kristina Šorić delivered an interactive workshop to a group of young water polo players from the Croatian water polo club Mladost (elementary school levels: 5th to 8th grade), and their parents. The workshop focused on a very important topic of financial literacy. The participants worked on developing a financial plan for a small event, learning about loans, savings, interest rates and other financial terms along the way.
"I am grateful for the invitation to hold this workshop”, said dr. sc. Šorić. "I fully support the concept of the club to organize activities that helps their sportsmen, acquire various skills and knowledge. It was magnificent, and I really enjoyed working with everyone. All of the participants showed curiosity and enthusiasm, and we all had a really great time!”
The workshop is a part of HAVK Mladost's education-related platform MladostEDU, which we recently joined, through which the club is promoting education among their youngest players.
