RIT Croatia awarded recognitions for highest faculty and staff achievements in the academic year 2021-22

At the end of every academic year, RIT Croatia celebrates the achievements of its faculty and staff members in various categories and based on nominations by all faculty and staff.
Greatness in Service Awards were presented to staff members who provided exceptional service to students, colleagues and university constituents, who are promoting team work and collaboration, and are constantly demonstrating a strong commitment to student success, and this year
Ana Andrijašević, Student Services Assistant at the Dubrovnik campus and
Marcela Pavlica, Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist at the Zagreb campus, were recipients of Greatness in Service awards.
Greatness in Professional Engagement and Service Awards were presented to
Dr. Branko MIhaljević,
Dr. Kristina Šorić,
Dr. Maja Vidović and
Dr. Martin Žagar for their exceptional professional engagement and service, starting from participation in international conferences, projects with industry and community involvement, as well as effective and innovative teaching and having an active role in professional organizations.
Faculty Research Awards are handed out to those faculty members with exceptional research contribution that has enhanced the reputation of RIT Croatia in a global or national context and this year, proud recipients of this recognition were
Dr. Alan Mutka,
Dr. Jakob Patekar and
Dr. Martin Žagar.
Outstanding Achievement Awards are presented to faculty or staff members for outstanding achievement, project, or collaboration within RIT or community, that has enhanced the reputation of RIT Croatia. This year, the Outstanding Achievement Awards recipient was
Dr. Ante Poljičak for his contribution in leading and designing of the New Media Design program that was recently launched at our Zagreb campus.
Besides awards given based on the votes of faculty and staff, the last, but not the least, are the
Excellence in Teaching Awards that were handed out during commencement ceremonies and are based on student votes, and this year these valuable recognitions went to:
Dr. Besim Agušaj,
Milena Kužnin,
Dr. Jakob Patekar and
Dr. Ante Poljičak.
