On December 5, Career Services Office has arranged a site visit for WMC students in Dubrovnik to a company called Direct Booker. Direct Booker is a successful travel agency that assists tourists in finding their private accommodation and tourist activities. The learning outcomes for our students were to get acquainted with this particular company, their IT department, to network and to see how it looks like to work at Direct Booker.
Although they attend colleges thousands of miles away, student leaders from Rochester Institute of Technology’s global campuses found common goals to improve student experiences, cultural understanding and lasting friendships at the sixth annual Student Government Global Consortium, held at the main RIT campus January 4-7, 2019.

On Monday, December 17, 2018, Dr. Jim Watters, Senior Vice-President of Finance & Administration, and Ms. Therese Hannigan, Director, RIT Online, represented RIT & RIT Croatia at the opening of the exhibition “Dubrovnik, A Scarred City – The Destruction and Restoration of Dubrovnik 1991-2000” at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC.
