First day of Spring marked another interested (and yummy)
event at our Zagreb campus – the traditional International dinner which our
students organize to promote the multicultural experience at RIT Croatia. This
year's event gathered more than 100 students presenting and tasting various
dishes from countries such as Spain,
Italy, Germany, Austria and Russia. Of course, the event included the
competitive part and students chose the most original dish and the best dish.
The winners are:
This event was conceptualized by Dr. Nikolina Božinović, our
Area Head for Modern Foreign Languages: „International Dinner is one of our
favorite social gatherings. When we started with this event, our primary goal
was to help our students to find out more about the culture and customs of
different countries and have fun in doing so. In the past years, we had the
pleasure to taste some excellent French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian
dishes, and also some other exquisite dishes from all over the world. This year
our students made more than 40 dishes at Zagreb campus and they voted for their
best dish and the most original dish. This event is an important part of
foreign language education and it helps students understand and enjoy more
about the cultures of the language that they are studying."
