WINNERS OF 2015 ENGLISH LANGUAGE CONTEST

English Language Contest, also known as "RIT Croatia's Star Search", is a competition our college organizes on yearly basis, with the aim to award the best participants with valuable scholarships. Scholarships are nonrefundable and can only be used to enroll in undergraduate programs at RIT Croatia:  International Hospitality and Service Management (Dubrovnik), International Business(Zagreb), and Information Technology (Dubrovnik and Zagreb).  


This year’s ELC took place at both Dubrovnik and Zagreb campuses on Saturday, April 18, and these are the winners:

Dubrovnik campus:
1st place Ivana  Klešković – 7000 EUR
2nd place Lovro Kolanović– 5000 EUR
3rd place Ivan Kovačević– 4000 EUR
4th place Đivo Lise– 3000 EUR
5th place Nika Sarić – 2000 EUR

Zagreb campus: 
1st place Yahya Abdalla Abdelrahem – 7000 EUR
2nd place Emil Vid Bačić – 5000 EUR
3rd place Toni Dusper – 4000 EUR
4th place Fran Filajdić – 3000 EUR
5th place Klara Raškaj – 2000 EUR

How Antonio Jakobušić tackled the topic of “Analytics or Intuition in Decision Making?” in his senior capstone project

Senior capstone project is the crown of education at RIT Croatia for graduating students of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program. Senior year students choose topics based on their own interests, which gives them the opportunity to tackle anything they find interesting and worth exploring. Creating a successful senior capstone project is a complex process which requires a lot of maturing along the way, a lot of problem solving, researching and, above all, a good and firm connection with the faculty member mentoring the whole process.

New HTM students inducted in the Eta Sigma Delta Honorary society

Eta Sigma Delta (ESD), an honorary society for students of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at RIT Croatia's Dubrovnik campus, held its induction ceremony to welcome 10 new members on Thursday, April 29 at the Hotel Hilton Imperial.

As part of RIT Croatia’s celebration of its 25th anniversary, the college organized a creativity competition for its students. Students were invited to produce a video, an image, or a text on the topic of celebrating 25 years of RIT Croatia.
