RIT/ACMT sent three students from both of our campuses to participate in the annual Imagine RIT Festival held on Saturday, May 5th.

Marko Kulhavi, IT freshman student, represented our Dubrovnik campus and Petra Rajko, IT freshman student & Goran Pekica, IB freshman student, represented our Zagreb campus.

The Imagine RIT Festival is a series of exhibits and activities meant to showcase the interesting projects that Rochester students and community members have been working on.  It is designed to demonstrate what can be accomplished when, as RIT President Bill Destler likes to say, "the right and left brain collide."
"Saturday's fifth Imagine RIT Festival was the best yet, and I am so proud of the way in which we presented the best of RIT to the largest festival crowd ever.  I don't see how anyone could walk away from the Festival without being deeply impressed with the quality and range of innovative and creative work going on at RIT every day.  I am truly humbled by the extent to which all of you have contributed to the making of what is clearly now a great university", said President Bill Destler.

This was a unique opportunity for our students to visit the RIT campus and participate in this great event. As Marko said, "The RIT campus is huge and you can get lost easily if you don't know the place that well. They have buildings for everything that you can imagine and do cool stuff in them. We went on a trip to the Niagara Falls and that was spectacular. All in all, the trip was a great experience for me and it will help me decide what to do with my future."
