1st place: 7.000,00 EUR scholarship
2nd place:5.000,00 EUR scholarship
3rd place: 4.000,00 EUR scholarship
4th place: 3.000,00 EUR scholarship
5th place: 2.000,00 EUR scholarship
All high school seniors can apply for the English language contest at RIT/ACMT by April 19, 2012. The competition will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012, simultaneously at both Dubrovnik and Zagreb campuses, according to the following schedule:
Phase 1: 9:00-10:30 – Grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension test
Phase 2: 12:00-17:00 – Project on a given subject, presentation, questions and answers session
Top 10 candidates form Phase 1 will continue to Phase 2. Phase 2 candidates will be announced 15 minutes prior to the start of Phase 2.
Five finalists will obtain financial awards that are only applicable if they decide to study at RIT/ACMT in the academic year 2012/2013 and are not transferable to future years. Total amounts of the financial awards are divided into 4 years of study at RIT/ACMT. If one of the winners has been previously awarded RIT/ACMT Financial aid or a scholarship, they will only be able to claim one (larger) award.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

In addition to RIT Croatia Freshmen Orientation that took place last week, School of Information from RIT's Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences held an online Global Orientation for its Web and Mobile Computing students in Dubrovnik and Zagreb, Croatia, and Dubai, UAE on Monday, August 31.
