It is our pleasure to announce to you that two of our senior students, Maja Matkovic and Sydney Viaccoz, have been accepted into the RIT Alpha Sigma Lambda Honorary Society. Induction into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honorary Society is reserved for students who have achieved exemplary levels in the three pillars of ASL: Activities, Scholarship, and Leadership. In addition to maintaining academic excellence, inductees must also have been active for at least a year in two clubs, organizations, or committees, and must have also held high elected or appointed office within an academic organization. More information about Alpha Sigma Lambda can be found at http://www.rit.edu/studentaffairs/vp_alpha_sigma_lambda.php.

Because of the high criteria which are set for acceptance, it is truly an honor to have 2 ACMT students accepted into this society. Out of the RIT senior generation of nearly 4,000 students, only 44 students in total were accepted. Please join me in congratulating Maja and Sydney on the prestigious award.
