Academic, Office and Student Spaces
Appropriate face masks must be worn by students at all times when on campus, regardless of whether physical distancing can be maintained. To comply with the face mask guidelines, food and drink are not permitted in classrooms, labs, libraries, and other learning spaces.
All student-serving offices will be open with staff present during regular business hours. Services will be provided using a mix of in-person and remote modalities. Faculty office hours will take place remotely unless the faculty member indicates otherwise. In-person meetings will be provided upon request if physical distancing can be maintained and meetings are consistent with the Safety Plan. Staff and faculty with documented accommodations involving telework are not required to hold in-person meetings.
All academic advisor meetings can be scheduled via SIS. Students can schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor by following these guidelines:
- Log in to SIS or myCourses and click Starfish icon
- On the "My Success Network" page - click the drop down arrow next to the advisors name
- Click the "Schedule” link and follow the steps (enter date & time) to schedule an appointment
- Click submit
- The advisor will receive the meeting invitation on their calendar and send a Zoom link for the requested time.
Until they become familiar with the SIS system, Freshmen students should contact their advisors via email to schedule meetings.
Lab and library resources will be available, but with reduced capacity in compliance with the physical distancing guidelines.
Due to COVID-19 and the physical distancing requirements, student club activities will be conducted online or via a combination of in-person and online interaction. Updates on each club and the club activities will be shared by the Student Government at the beginning of the fall semester.
RIT Croatia fitness facilities will be closed until the epidemiologic situation allows a safe environment for all users.
