Message from the IHSM Area Head

"This program prepares students for careers in tourism, one of the biggest and fastest-growing industries in the world. Tourist companies are one of the biggest employers and they are continuously looking for college graduates who come from good quality schools like RIT Croatia. The development of the service management industry is based on the know-how and new technologies; and the concepts that no longer serve the present and the needs of the business environment of the 21st century are being replaced by those that do. Upon graduation, our students have opportunities to develop careers in the management of tourist and hotel companies – in Croatia and abroad." Besim Agušaj, Ph.D., International Hospitality and Service Management Area Head
