In the modern world of business, where many companies expand globally, business professionals with an awareness of cultural and political differences and an understanding of the competitive conditions of a global market are in demand. The four-year undergraduate International Business program provides students with knowledge and understanding of the main economic functions of international business and a solid understanding of international strategic management.
Program OverviewThrough theoretical knowledge and co-op and internship placements, students are prepared for the complexity of problem solving in the dynamic global market. The following courses are of key importance: International Economics, International Business, Strategy in the Global Environment, Finance in the Global Environment, and Marketing in the Global Environment. The program offers a special insight into the global business environment along with a political, legal, economic and technological context of international business. You will develop managerial and leadership skillsIn addition to business management skills (strategic planning, team leadership, time mana gement, organization), students develop their communication and presentation skills, gain confidence in public speaking, and learn how to communicate fluently in business English. They also will learn how to make independent decisions as well as how to solve problems in an innovative and creative manner.
A Unique ExperienceStudents are required to gain professional experience through 800 hours of co-op and internship placements, a part of which must have an international component.
