The four-year Information Technology program offered at RIT Croatia, in Dubrovnik and Zagreb, prepares students for perspective professions in the areas of system administration, Web design, database design, and wide-application design.

Program Overview

The curriculum is comprehensive. During your studies, you will gain and develop skills in two key areas of computing -- software development and system administration -- which support the business processes of a company. Upon completion of your sophomore year, and depending on your interest, you will be offered two of five different program areas:

Going Digital? We've got the right thing for you!

RIT Croatia introduces a minor on digital business – a topic that is very popular, interesting, contemporary and crucial to today's businesses. Digital Business represents the impact of new technologies on business practice, products and services. Today, social computing and mobile devices are dramatically changing the behaviors and characteristics that lead individuals and organizations to success. This minor allows students to enhance their major program of study with a focus on these new technologies and their application in business. Learn more here.

Co-Op Orientation and Internship Placements

Students in the program will complete 800 hours of co-op or internship placements. These will prepare students for a real world business environment. A wide variety of class assignments and laboratory exercises provide students with the practical knowledge of working in MS Windows and Mac OS X environments. Students will enjoy their lectures in classrooms equipped with cutting-edge information equipment and the state-of-the-art Apple iMac computers and iPad devices.

Leader in the Education of IT Professionals

The curriculum and program standards are fully aligned with the IT program at RIT, which was the first university in the U.S. to create and establish a program in Information Technology. RIT has remained the leader in the education of IT experts, offering innovative programs and continually setting new trends in the industry. RIT alumni have found permanent positions in companies such as Apple and Microsoft.

The information technology program is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the U.S.

Globally recognized American degree

Upon completion of your studies, you will be granted two diplomas, an international American degree awarded by RIT and a Croatian degree from RIT Croatia. The American RIT degree will offer you numerous opportunities worldwide.
