The four-year Web and Mobile Computing / Information Technology undergraduate program offered at RIT Croatia in Dubrovnik and Zagreb, prepares students for perspective and sought-after professions in the areas of programming, web and mobile application design and database modelling.
The curriculum is comprehensive. During your studies, you develop skills in computing, software development, and learn how to integrate the back-end code with the front-end UI across several languages and platforms. Upon completion of your sophomore year, you will be offered two different program areas:
- Mobile Application Development
- Web Application Development
Web and Mobile Computing/Information Technology program prepares you for the following areas:
- robust developer skillset
- web-application and database design and development
- mobile app design and development
- usage of existing and creation of different types of web services,
- planning, installing, configuring, developing, and maintaining web servers
- understanding issues of scalability, performance and security in deploying a web presence
Co-Op Orientation and Internship PlacementsStudents in the program will complete 800 hours of co-op or internship placements. This experience will prepare students for a real world professional environment. A wide variety of class assignments and laboratory exercises provide students with the practical knowledge of working in MS Windows, Linux and Mac OS X environments.
Leader in the Education of Web and Mobile Computing/Information Technology ProfessionalsThe curriculum and program standards are fully aligned with RIT, which was the first postsecondary program in information technology in the United States, accepting their first baccalaureate students in the fall of 1992. RIT has remained the leader in the education of IT experts, continually setting new trends in the industry. A high number of RIT alumni get employed in demanding IT companies such as Apple and Microsoft.
