The Hallmark of an RIT Education
Our co-op program was created based on the success of RIT's co-operative education program, one of the oldest and largest co-op programs in the world. Through co-op students gain work and valuable hands-on experience in their respective majors.
RIT Croatia students complete their co-ops during their sophomore and junior year, where they spend a minimum of 800 hours conducting their co-op.
Our Career Services Advisors help students in their preparation for entering the labor market. They help them to connect with potential employers, identify co-op and internships opportunities, and teach them job search techniques (writing resumes and motivational letters, preparing them for interviews).

Co-op programs are carried out at companies and in industries relevant to our students’ studies. In addition to gaining professional working experience and building a significant business network, co-op's help them develop indispensable career skills in management, business communication, time management, flexibility, teamwork, etc.
Get to Know the World
Some students do their co-op and internship placements abroad. This valuable experience gives them an insight into the standards of international business, the diverse cultural and business challenges of a global market, and provide them with a global perspective of the business world.

CAREER EDUCATION DAY
Once a year, RIT Croatia organizes a business event, Career Education Day, which gathers representatives of some of the most renowned companies from Croatia and the region. The aim of the event is to help students establish contacts with potential employers. This is an excellent opportunity to meet company representatives, have an interview and find co-op placement, a seasonal or even a permanent job.
